Lorenzo Rea

Lorenzo Francesco Rea is the COO and co-founder of ResilientX Security. Based in Naples, he runs the operational and commercial side of the company: sales and channel partnerships, customer onboarding and success, the ecosystem of accelerators and investors around ResilientX Security, and the day-to-day running of the Italian and UK entities.

Lorenzo studied business at LIUC – Università Cattaneo and cut his teeth in AIESEC, the student-run leadership organisation, where he served as Vice President of his local committee. He then built his career in start-up operations, most recently as Managing Director at Startup Wise Guys, one of Europe’s most active B2B accelerators, where he helped early-stage founders turn products into repeatable sales and operating models.

It was through that work that he met ResilientX Security, first as an accelerator and advisor, then as the person the founders asked to run the business. He joined as COO and co-founder in late 2024, bringing the structure the company needed to scale: a sales process, a partner channel across Italy and Europe, and an operating rhythm between engineering, customers and the administration of a company present in two countries.

Lorenzo works closely with customers facing NIS2, DORA and ISO 27001 obligations, moderates and speaks at compliance events, and represents ResilientX Security in programmes such as Cybertech Europe and the UK’s scale-up ecosystem. His focus is simple: help organisations turn regulatory pressure into clear programmes they can actually deliver.
